Sandra Black Midi Skirt - FINAL SALE

My kids bought me this skirt for Mothers Day and I have worn it several times as it's super cute and super comfortable. I love love love the deep pockets and the fact that there is no button or zipper to dig into my belly as I have surgery scars on my stomach. I got an 18 and as I have been losing weight, the only thing holding this up now is my momma hips. So when this gets to big. I will be getting me another one in a smaller size and blessing one of my sisters with this one. You can't go wrong with this one. I love also that is doesn't ride up when I sit. Super comfy. TTS, in between sizes, size down

Overall this is a really nice skirt...the length is a touch long for me at 5'2" but the waistband is comfortable, it's easy to walk in. This definitely runs straighter than the dark wash. For reference, the dark wash size 4 fits me beautifully with no cling in the hips. The black in size 6 is both too snug in the hips and a little big in the waist...so just the wrong shape for me. It is a much stiffer material than the dark wash, also noticed the odor but it wasn't overpowering.

But while I love the fit and color, my skirt has a strong chemical odor. At the suggestion of an Inherit representative I soaked it in water and baking soda for 4 hours which I did, then washed it in regular detergent. It still has the strong odor and I haven’t been able to wear it yet other than to try it on here at home. If anyone has other remedies to rid my skirt of chemical odor, please feel free to share. Thank you.

First, I love the Sandra skirt for it's waist. I find the waist band to be easy to pull on/off and way more comfortable. This black skirt is nice for something different. It's not as soft as the original Sandra skirt, and even the no-cling leggings stick to it. I assume it's because of the dye. It's still comfortable, true to size and washes/dries well.
