Rory Athletic Midi Dress

Love this lightweight dress! Love the adjustable waist as well 😊 fits true to size!

I really wanted to like this dress because the style looks really good, but it did not work for me, but it looks like other people it does work for according to the previous reviews. I order my TTS small and it was extremely baggy at the top. I felt like I was swimming. For reference I am 5'5" and 120-125 lbs. I have a pear-figure which means I have a small chest and carry my weight in my lower mid section. This dress was not flattering on my figure. I could of pulled the waist in, but I don't look good with the waist tied in because it emphasizes my mid-section and then it was too tight and still too roomy at top. The material also felt stiff to mean. I was thinking it would be softer. Again, like the style, but just didn't work for me.

I sized up in this dress so I could wear it while pregnant, and it's perfect! Love cinching the waist and letting it sit above the bump. So wipeable and comfy!

I have purchased the Rory in every color. Love the dress but... The blush color was too see through for me. It also ran a little small. The original black Rory I have is size XL and it ran loose fitting. The new Rorys are more fitted. I can still wear an XL but it just fits with no extra room.

It's a nice looking easy modest outfit that can be wiped off if something gets on it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this dress. It was one of those dresses I was looking at, but hesitant to buy at first due to the cost. But when it when on flash sale, I took it as a sign to purchase and try it out. So far, I'm pleased. :) It can be worn as a casual/everyday dress, a sporty outfit, or even as a dressier item with the right pair of tights and a cardigan.
